SynthFont is an app that allows you to play any MIDI file from any sound file, such as SF2, DLS, GIGA, 404, or GUS.

Once you set the sound format, all you have to do is upload a MIDI file so you can create a song from it that you can save in MP3, OGG, or WAV format. Of course, you can also listen to it without having to save it.
